With God’s blessings, this team got together in time for this year’s Youth Cup. In fact I feel that this team actually stand a chance to hit the 3rd round if we train hard for the next few weeks. Well, lets just go and have a fun this time round.

A few have moved on to other sports, some got enlisted into national service and some decided to take a break from the game. Only a hand full of the boys actually missed 凯旋 trainings. Maybe more than a hand full but most of them enjoy their free time more I guess.

Finally with some captains and player’s initiative, we gathered for an informal training again. This time on a wednesday night. It was quite a good catching up session and I do miss the times even more now. Although I am tired of bringing everyone together again but part of me hopes that things will work out on its own.

After a good 2 months break, 凯旋’s training finally resumes. Hopefully the boys did well for their exams. Now that all of the exams are over, the key focus is to prepare the 91s and 92s for u19 Youth Cup next year. As for the 90s and older, I will still register for tournaments (u21/Mens Open etc…) if there are enough regulars that come for training. Its time to promote some 90s  to join the 凯旋宫殿 Mens Open Team which consist of batches 85-89s.

The turnout for training was rather good today. We had close to 20 players from batches 90s – 94s. It was just match time all the way from 7-9pm. I could tell that the boys were enjoying themselves and even after 2 months of break, it still felt like a family.

As for the 93s and younger, there might be a slight change in their future in 凯旋. We will see.

Just have to wish you a really happy birthday in advance. As in the past years I was in Brunei in training as part of my “contribution” to the country. Haven heard from you for quite a while so I decided to write a birthday letter-card.

Just wanted to take some time again to wish you a happy birthday because on this day you were born to make a difference to our lives. Currently I am an instructor at OCS and I’ve seen people from all walks of life, Ah Bengs, Nerds, Weirdos, Fun loving people, Kiasus, Kiasees, and blur cocks. I tend to reflect on my own character and I see that I actually have quite a good character and upbringing. But I always cannot forget those times in 凯旋 where in our youths, you controlled us and were strict with discipline (cannot dye hair, ear studs). Well it kept me on the right path. And the encouragement you give during trainings, tough trainings and our favourite 400m, blessed me with mental strength and fitness to survive in the army.

All in all, I believed that during my time in 凯旋, you really set me right and I only know the benefits so many years later. Seeing now that you are still going on and touching the lives of more of your 小的s, I am just glad that we are still going strong. Nowadays I cant really have updates about 凯旋, because my house come is spoilt.

Hope we can meet up for a meal really soon, and yes if its possible I hope I can come back and help sometime. Once again, 生日快乐!

After Dehaus’ thrashing defeat, we went all out for Gryphons, but sad to say we faced some sort of a situation at the end of the game and fell short of 3 points. The game against Prestige was kinda given to us, although we would rather have won it by ourselves.

To qualify for Semis, we had to beat Whyenam by 8 points (thats if Dehaus successfully wins all). So this match was either a make it or break it match and this would set the tone for  xballer 凯旋宫殿’s future in the Mens Open.

I really have to thank GOD for His blessings and the team’s efforts for making a comeback. There was a moment in the game in which we were 15 points behind and it all seemed impossible. But we made it and now everything that happened seemed like it was planned all along.

Before we celebrate, lets just pray and hope Dehaus manages to beat Whyenam B coming wed, as this would determine if we will be advancing to the Semis. But whatever it is, I am happy even if this was our last game. Proud of all of you!
